Biography

Hyoseon Choi, MD, is a physician and researcher specializing in stroke rehabilitation and neurorehabilitation technologies. Her research focuses on identifying clinical and neurophysiological predictors of functional recovery after stroke, including imaging-based biomarkers of muscle loss and brain–computer interface (BCI)-assisted rehabilitation strategies. She has conducted studies using virtual reality and neurofeedback systems to enhance upper limb motor recovery in individuals with stroke. Her work aims to integrate objective biomarkers and emerging neurotechnology to improve rehabilitation outcomes and develop personalized therapeutic approaches for patients with neurological disorders.
